Business & Commerce Insurance Customers Excited For New Potential with International Excess Alliance - Yahoo Finance

CLEVELAND, May 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Business & Commerce Insurance customers are pleased with the new opportunities that are available through International Excess Alliance.  IEA acquired Business & Commerce Insurance (BCI), a commercial and personal lines brokerage located in Indiana, in September, 2011. The two companies are dedicated to keeping the same level of customer service and face-to-face relationships that BCI customers are used to having, plus offering new services that may not have been previously provided.   Marc Pender, COO and CEO of International Excess states that "the acquisition has provided over 1,000 new classes of business and 50 more carriers to BCI customers.  We are confident they see this as an enhancement for their customers."  IEA is well-known for their service-minded capabilities, including their online quoting, and is excited to be working with BCI clientele.

Bill Jamison, Assistant Vice President, noted that several of BCI's largest customers have told him they are "so excited to be able to have a one stop shop where we can still utilize your services for standard lines business but also for the harder to place risks on the Excess and Surplus lines side as well. Business & Commerce Insurance was always very responsive so we are looking forward to expanding our product lines with this new merger. You will be our first call the next time we have an account that we need help in placing."

Many of BCI's current and new customers are "excited that the merger has given us so many more options to place coverage outside what our in-house markets do." Agents are also very pleased that they will still be working with Bill & Lisa Jamison at the front end of new business. BCI customers are "thrilled that Bill & Lisa will have more options for us to place business with them as International Excess Alliance."   One regular client recently said, "I was sure that you would not have a market for my risk - then you helped me quote an account that I could not place in the past!" IEA is dedicated to meeting all of their customers' needs, and welcomes BCI to their insurance family.
